Efficient Space Utilisation with Concrete Sleeper Wall in Augustine Heights
Client Challenge
The task was to dismantle an obsolete timber retaining wall on the boundary of a property, necessitating a replacement solution that would occupy minimal space. The need for a new retaining structure that could offer stability and longevity within a constrained area was paramount.
Our Solution
Australian Retaining Walls stepped in to provide a compact yet effective solution with the installation of a concrete sleeper retaining wall at Augustine Heights. Designed to fit the limited space, the wall extends approximately 27 metres in length and 1 metre in height, with concrete piers positioned every 2 metres, ensuring both minimal footprint and maximum efficiency.
Outcome
The completed concrete sleeper retaining wall not only met the spatial constraints but also promised enduring stability and low maintenance. The incorporation of 20mm drainage gravel, geotextile fabric, and an agricultural pipe further enhanced the wall's functionality, ensuring proper drainage and longevity.
