The owner of a residential property in Tallai faced the challenge of a failed retaining wall after a storm. Our Solution
We constructed a Keystone Pro gravity wall reinforced with ACEGrid Geogrid 80kN Uniaxial Polyester Geogrid, providing the wall with strength and stability. The wall stood at 2.7 metres high with an additional 1-metre high section on top, ensuring the required height for the property’s needs. In areas with boundary restrictions, we reinforced the wall with nofines concrete to maintain structural integrity. Additionally, we installed stormwater pits and piping, supplied by the property owner, ensuring proper drainage around the wall.
Outcome
The project was completed in just ten days, with the reinforced Keystone Pro gravity wall offering long-lasting protection for the property. The combination of ACEGrid Geogrid reinforcement and nofines concrete provided a stable, durable structure capable of withstanding future storms and ensuring minimal maintenance.
