Client Challenge
The owner of a residential property in Nerang aimed to expand his yard with a new industrial-sized shed and additional parking spaces. This project required us to cut, fill, and compact approximately 150 cubic meters of earth to create a solid platform for the shed and seven parking bays. To secure the area, a 22m long, 1.6m high B Grade Sandstone Boulder retaining wall was necessary between the existing sheds. We also managed the engineering designs and handled the Development Application process, streamlining approval for the client.
Our Solution
Our team provided a comprehensive solution, starting with site preparation by cutting, filling, and compacting the area. We constructed a B Grade Sandstone Boulder retaining wall to support the new shed and parking bays. The wall, meticulously crafted over five days, was designed in collaboration with our engineering associate to ensure structural integrity. We took care of all necessary approvals, smoothing the path for a successful project. Despite challenges like uncovering large gum tree stumps and hitting underground rock, our 14-tonne excavator made light work of the obstacles, keeping the project on track.
